Introduction

Medical imaging technology deals with the clinical analysis of interior parts of the human body. This discipline plays a huge role in diagnosing different types of diseases and conditions of the interior organs/parts/tissues of the human body that are not visible to the naked eye.
X-Ray, CT Scan, MRI Scan, Sonography, ECG – are different forms of medical imaging technology. Medical imaging technology can be used to obtain visual representations of bones, muscles, tissues, organs like the stomach, intestines, lungs, brain, etc.
B.Voc. Radiology and Medical Imaging technology deals with X-ray, ECG, CT Scan and MRI with relevant equipment, patient preparation, safety procedures, analysis. The program trains young candidates and turns them into skilled medical radiology technologists. B.Voc. program is 3 years course with the provision of exit options such as –
- Diploma after completing 1 year of the program
- Advanced Diploma after completing 2 years of the program
- Bachelor’s Degree after completing 3 years of the program
